By using Unlevered, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Unlevered is a software tool that helps you find tax strategies and estimate potential savings based on the information you provide. Unlevered is not a law firm, accounting firm, or registered investment advisor. The estimates, suggestions, and strategies in the product are educational and are not legal, tax, or investment advice.

When you request human help, we match you with a licensed CPA or EA. Any professional advice you receive comes from that individual under their license and their own engagement terms — not from Unlevered.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• One person per account. Don't share your login.

You retain ownership of the information and documents you upload. You grant Unlevered a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (including sending documents to AI providers for parsing and sharing relevant details with the tax specialist you're matched with).

You represent that you have the right to upload any document you share with us and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

• Don't upload documents that aren't yours or that you don't have permission to share.
• Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the product.
• Don't use Unlevered to break the law or evade taxes owed.
• Don't submit malware, attempt to compromise our infrastructure, or interfere with other users.

Every number in the product — estimated savings, what-if scenarios, strategy outcomes — is an estimate based on the information you provided and general tax rules. Actual results depend on your full situation, current law, and how the strategy is implemented. Always verify with a licensed tax professional before acting on any strategy.

Unlevered makes no guarantee of any specific tax outcome.

The quiz and dashboard estimate are free. Some features (for example, working with an assigned tax specialist or filing your return) may be paid. Pricing, if any, will be disclosed before you're charged.

You can stop using Unlevered and delete your account at any time by emailing support@unlevered.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the service or other users.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unlevered and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or tax outcomes resulting from your use of the product. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We may update these terms from time to time. If the update is material, we'll notify you in the product or by email. Continued use of Unlevered after a change means you accept the updated terms.
